Part 1 : The New Tower of Babel with Topology Optimization
The first video is "the Tower of Babel", a legendary tower in the Old Testament.
If it had been completed, would it have looked like this?
If it had been structured like this, would it have reached the heavens without breaking?
Check the structure created by topology optimization.

Part 2 : 7 Types of bridges with Topology Optimization
The second video is "bridges".
There are bridges of various sizes and shapes in the world.
We were able to generate typical bridge shapes using topology optimization, and we would like to introduce them here.
* Audio is available.
Part 3 : Helical structures with Topology Optimization
The third video is "Helical structures".
These are a compilation of spin-offs of ideas that came up when creating the New Tower of Babel video.
Helical bring a universal, stable beauty due to harmonious ratios.
* Audio is available.
Part 4 : Creature morphogenesis with Topology Optimization
The fourth video is "Creature morphogenesis".
In the final installment of this series, we will introduce examples from the natural world.
Optimized shapes are frequently found not only in structures but also in nature.
In this video, we performed topology optimization by treating the energy absorption and transport during the formation process of these shapes as the transfer of heat by conduction.
* Audio is available.
Part 5: Cube2Sphere by Shape Optimization.
New video series focuses on non-parametric shape Optimization.This time, the theme is Cube2Sphere.
We know that celestial bodies are spherical.
We also see many spheres, such as eggs, soap bubbles,and gas tanks.
We've been to able to recreate these spheres using shape optimization,
so we'd like to introduce them to you. [time 3:41]

Part 6: Reinforced Shape by Shape Optimization.
One topic of great interest to engineers is the reinforcement of parts.
We will introduce some examples caluculated using our non-parametoric shape optimization.
Although these are simple models, unique reinforcement shapes have been obtained.
Now, please check out the video. [time 4:30]

Part 7: Quintet of Chairs inspired by Gaudi.
You've probably often drawn to the mysterious beauty of organic shapes.
It goes without saying that this feeling is felt in many of Antonio Gaudi's works.
I'm one of those people who has been captivated by his work.
Unfortunately, while I can appreciate beauty, I lack the talent to create it.
So, using the magic wand of structural optimization, I tried to create five organic shapes based in chairs.
Now, please enjoy this final video in the series.[time 8:19]
